Little London Road, Silchester. Our 30mph Village. Please Slow Down And Save a life.

After losing both our beautiful cats in the spate of just 5 weeks, we've decided to highlight the reason why. To have to dig 2 graves in just 5 weeks is simply shocking and something we never expected to do, the only upside is that it wasnt a small child, a cyclist or a horse rider.

The location is the Little London Road in Silchester, near Reading in Berkshire. This is a small road and only has just enough room for 2 cars to pass side by side, yet the speed and volume of traffic over the past years has nearly doubled. You will see from this film the types of vehicles and how they are being driven.

Filmed on a Friday at 6pm and Saturday at 10 am, it clearly shows anything on this road is as good as dead. We just hope our activities will bring awareness and save a human life, which unfortunately WILL happen one day. Lets try and avoid their families grief.

Please slow down, if it says 30mph there is a reason.

So guess their speed! Some we think are over 70mph, and some are villagers......
