Stop thievery? Those rat infested buildings don't even belong to them. They belong to the govenment.They are trying to tear it down and build better apartments. But they don't want that beacause then they would have to abide by rules and not have twenty people living in one apartment and trashing up the place. They weren't "powerless". There is NOTHING to suggest that if the people didn't simply step back (outside) or sit down (inside) there would have been no police action. It is ridiculous. People ignore simple orders from law enforcement (NOT violations of their rights, but simple orders to back up and remain orderly) and then bitch when the officers do what they have to do.

So obvious that this incident is just a set-up meant to frighten potential protesters

while making it obvious that we're powerless against their 'crowd control' techniques.

Time to get wise and quit playing into the madness...there are other ways to stop thievery, we can't take them head on. Get creative, New Orleans, there are many ways to reclaim what they are trying to take away.

Most of these white protestors are PAID protestors. They are paid by lawyers that make alot of money from the thousands of law-suits that stem from the lead-paint and asbestos that fill the projects. They stand to lose millions if they are closed.
