Dreyfus once wrote from Devil's Island that he would see the most glorious birds. Many years later in Brittany, he realized they had only been seagulls. For me, they will always be glorious birds.

audio came from a CD I borrowed from the library about six years ago that I then recorded onto to a cassette. just played the cassette on full volume with massive headphones aimed at the computer. woo. technologically advanced, yeah!

  • took me less than five seconds to place cat stevens.

I can't imagine what you'd be able to accomplish with a cintiq :|

  • @rionhunter omfg. I've wanted one for ages. :(

cat stevens is the best cat ever.

  • To me, drawing, sufficiently advanced, is indistinguishable from magic. And as for puppet shows... Thanks for this.

  • dunno what to say really...

  • Check out Song to a Seagull by Joni Mitchell if you like seagulls. I <3 her. Oh and believe it or not, Neil Diamond's soundtrack for Jonathan Livingston Seagull is fantastic. Man, haven't heard that in years. To the iTunes mobile!

  • ^__^ I <3 joni mitchell. we used to sing along to circle game and big yellow taxi in school when I was little... best. sing-alongs. ever.

and it's not seagulls in particular that I like, though I do love 'em. I don't think people quite get how much of a film screen shot this was from Harold & Maude...
