@npgfunk I prefer Jesse's tone and speed,accuracy on his 'Bare my naked soul' album. As a guitar player myself, I like the aggression in Jesse's playing. I like Prince's melodic solos.They are very singalong. As an adult, I would never tell you, "You do not know what you are talking about." in reference to a harmless personal opinion. Youtube should be renamed 'Mordor' because apparently it is frequented by trolls.By the way, I am a big prince fan.Jesse is my favorite guitar player.

@ekul785 : Please give me an example. I love Prince. I recognize him as a multi talented instrumentalist and songwriter. As a guitar player myself, I like Jesse's more aggressive use of pentatonics, speed and accuracy. This particular solo builds and then explodes. Very creative.

Jesse is more polished than Prince on the guitar. Jesse is one of the best guitar players alive.

I saw Jesse play live in Philly this year (2011). Jesse's precision is uncanny. You have to see this guy live. I am a Prince fan but his guitar playing is not as meticulous as Jesse's. Hmm. Jesse plays guitar solos that are very masculine. Prince plays more flowery.
