F-22 Raptor Demonstration
F-22 Raptor Demo Team
2008 NAS Oceana Airshow
NAS Oceana, Virginia
Friday September 19, 2008
IN THIS VIDEO, watch as my friend Major Paul "Max" Moga flies the F-22 through a demonstration over NAS Oceana on Friday evening. Max flies all of the Raptor demonstrations you have seen from 2007 and 2008 in aircraft that are fully fueled, in a full combat configuration, minus live missiles and bullets. He has talked about putting missiles inside one of the jets the team takes to show sites, but even that is a bit of a longshot. I apologize for the poor video quality, as I was trying my best to get the best video under VERY WINDY conditions, which persisted through Saturday night.
Like what you've seen? Well, if you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .

i dont care what you say......this is an awesome sight. most of the haters haven't even seen them at an airshow. f22 is awesome even though its more then anyone needs in a jet. still makes for a great air show

EarlMcCrackin is right! And I will also add that you build on what you know. Some technologies in and around the F-22 really are at the cutting edge. And yes - There is "better technology" out there but those are black projects!...

The program started 20 years ago. But the maiden flight wasn't until 1998 and it's really only been active for 2 years now.

THe F-22 is pretty old, close to 20 years old, i said "close", it was being made in late 1980's early 1990's, im pretty sure after 20 years the government may be hiding some better technology
