At least one lawmaker is listening. Rep. Jeff Clemens, of Lake Worth, is pushing a pot bill in Tallahassee.

"Marijuana doesn't kill anybody," he said. "And it's a viable alternative for people who are in pain."

Oncologist Dr. Robert Green said seniors don't need to smoke joints to cure their ailments, but he has seen it help cancer patients.

"I've had patients tell me that the only thing that stopped the nausea and vomiting from chemotherapy was the marijuana," Green said.

  • That's it I want a vote! I want to know exactly how many people want pot to not be regulated and or decriminalized or what ever allowing people to grow and use their own is called, and how many people want the opposite. Me personally i would like to stop being labeled a criminal. Now i admit i got my own problems but pot is not the cause of any of them and i keep smoking to myself. and actually pot did help a little its being a criminal that weighed on me and caused mental stress.

  • Irvin Rosenfeld will go down in the history books as one of the most pivotal forces in the cannabis movement. His rare form of cancer is treated, not cured, with cannabis and the federal government is his grower and dealer.

Millions of people, old and young, will die or live a majority of their life debilitated by things that cannabis relieves.

Cannabis eases discomfort and enhances well-being.

Government policies against cannabis are the anti-thesis of American liberty.
