I love the passion in Dave's voice! This one has been a favourite since I was 5!!! Toss up between Martin and Somebody (which will be my first dance song May 28th!) and this! Thanks so much for the upload! :D :D

Constipation....why?
Near the toilet I'll stand
With Ex-Lax in my hand
And toilet paper on my side

This song is better with Martin
-
they both sing it very well but there's a big diference between their voices:
Martin sings it with a soft voice
Dave sings it a bit rougher and that's what I like at his voice
-
I didn't mix it, I just set the DAT recorder up.
-
You've cut to much low/mids there,
-
hahahahhah maybe you`re right :D:D:D sounds a bit strange ;)
this is the perfect song for dave n his voice! I love martin but this isn`t HIS song!

I think you are right - It still ranks as one of the best Gahan vocals - I just like the difference between the versions... this is much more tender, while Gahans is more ... raw?

that raw is the thing I just simply adore in dave`s voice. and I`m a bit disappointed from the new album although there are some pretty good tracks in it. I think we all need a second "songs of faith and divotion" where dave is in his best form as a singer ^^ yeah as u can see DM is one of my fav topics

Amen...I like the new album, but I think it's the music and production I like the most - it lacks the really great tunes. Though "In Chains", "Jezebel" and "Corrupt" are really great songs!

I don't really know wich version I prefer - I love both Gahan and Gore's voices - I have another version from this concert of "I want you know" - Wich would have been strange if Gahan sang, and on the other hand, Gore's vocal wouldn't fit into songs like "Rush" or "Behind the Wheel"... But I just think that this version of "Condemnation" have another feeling than the common one, when Gore takes on Gahan's role as leadsinger...
