Ever wonder what kinds of details lie outside the worlds of Super Monkey Ball 2 or even how big they really are? I use Action Replay to enable the codes I need for this. Debug is not necessary, but it helps give you an an idea on the position (which is in meters). After the setup of debug, in the first world, I start the tours where I show you the great details that are otherwise unseen. Much of the land outside of the main area is passable, of which is the main thing I hate since I can't roll or bounce around on it (especially worlds 5 and 6, my top favorites). Also, take note of the speeds I need in order to get from one area to another.
The world used with the golf courses, some kind of jungle plateau, has very few details and is probably the dullest-looking world. Despite that, with patience and skill (and luck for speeds beyond 50 meters per frame), you can perform extreme stunts. My "Hole 14 debug hyper high" video (or something similar to that) has the stunt taken to a much greater extreme than this, but shown here is only a basic example for low speed, not 50+ meters per frame (that's over 6500 mph).
Is it actually possible to use practice mode on golf courses?? And if so, how do i do it (without using Action replay)?

Practice mode only works with the game's 150 main stages, not the hidden ones debug has. So, unfortunately, it's only challenge mode that can be used.... There's also no goals so you couldn't progress and simply dropping into the hole does nothing.

Do you need action replay or not?

I already said that you need AR to play main game mode in the golf courses (though it was indirect, sorry about that).
