O YEA LOOK WHO'S FAST AGAIN XD I actually finished recording this song 3 hours after its release on Facebook and YouTube. After hearing the preview I decided that I HAVE to cover it!! By the way all the parts to this song was made from scratch

This is the latest single from my 2nd most admired and influencial artist 王力宏 (Lee Hom Wang). This is going to be on his upcoming album and I just have to say that this song is GENIUS and very touching. When I heard the preview, it immediately reminded me of my hometown in China.

This song means A LOT to me....

The song is actually called 柴米油鹽醬醋茶 (Firewood, Rice, Oil, Salt, Sauce, Vinegar, Tea) and I basically shortened it to be called "The Daily Recipes" because those are the daily recipes for an average Asian (specifically Chinese) meal. The reason behind the name as explained by Wang Lee Hom:

"Chasing our dreams often means making sacrifices, especially when it comes to showing our loved ones how much we care. This song is to remind all those who dream big that sometimes the biggest dream of all is simply having someone who can be there with you through all the good times and the bad - someone with whom you can be happy just sharing a home-cooked meal."

So yes now when I hear this song, it brings back so many memories.....
