Not too long ago society dealt with the mentally deranged by putting them away in an asylum. This insolated citizens from having to deal with abnormal and sometimes dangerous behavior of the mentally ill. However, two decades ago a new policy of deinstitutionalization was adopted and the burden of handling these people fell onto the shoulders of law enforcement. Of course, law enforcement is very limited in their options when dealing with the mentally ill.

@dataghost196 Schitzophrenia is such a fucking horrible disease. It has that potential "ticking Time Bomb" effect. And the poor bastard, because of his obvious violent tenfancies, is probably going to be locked up sooner or later regardless. But in the meantime Casey here has to deal with a VERY REAL threat. In B.C. Canada he would be gone to Forensics for at least 90 depending on his history. Guarenteed he has a history. Hopefully the "System" works and everyone stays safe.
