Just saw him tonight in Edmonton. He was brilliant. I'd never heard this song before--tonight it brought me to tears, as it made me think of my dad, who I lost 10 years ago...

I'm a twenty-something lady and have not listened to Billy Bragg until today. I am now in love.

Lost my Dad almost 3 years ago - he would have been 70 today, still cracks me up when I listen to this, such a perfect tribute.

I know what you mean. When I was younger I like his political stuff. But now I'm 40, both of my parents have passed, and it really does change how you hear the music.

I can't play the song anymore. When I get to the "like a pale moon in the sunny sky...."I have to stop. I get too choked up.

Check out Bruce Cockburn's "Pacing the cage." He is much like Bragg. famous for the political stuff, but so much more.

Wow, this has me crying. I lost my dad just 21 days ago. What a beautiful song.
