Ralph Nader hosted a debate between our co-founder Norm Ornstein and Fred Smith on mandatory voting. In this clip, Ornstein discusses Why Tuesday? and weekend voting.
I would like to see voting done over the net. I would like to see all laws put before a referendum and either vote them up or down, I would like to see all war making( not defence) to be voted up or down by the people. Meaning not only did the president need a declaration from the congress but also a yes vote from the people. I would like to see a peoples vote on atomic bombs, atomic steam , and atomic anything. Vote on TSA, ATF, CIA, DEA even FBI and other gov agencys with no legal standing .
