I found out that the chime is a bug in the PMDG 747 when you're doing a replay. It happens when you've turned A/T off outside of the footage you're replaying. The chime is a caution, the master warning of the A/P disengaging sounds very different. IT'S NOT AN AUTOLAND!

I mostly turn the A/T off at 1000ft with windy conditions and when visibility is good. It's not KLM SOP -none of this is-, it's just my SOP so stop bitching ffs.

Landing the PMDG 747 (after evading a squall with subsequent turbulence near Rotterdam) at EHAM rwy 36R. 18kt X-wind component from the right.

FS2004, PMDG 747-400, Active Sky 6.5, FSglobal 2008, Cloud9 EHAM
