"My heart aches. I feel the world at a still. I feel it begging for hope and change. I see progress and I see regress. I see optimism and I see pessimism. I find myself wading between the two, depending on the day, depending on my mood. I have been one who has always found optimism for every problem. I knew why I came to exist on this planet. I still do. I'm tired. We are all tired. We have created a system which fails us daily. A system, we have never been happy with. Even if you find yourself at the "top" you find yourself filled with an empty void, larger than most people face in the middle and sometimes in the bottom. We have separated ourselves from nature a very long time ago and because of that, our bodies have grown to be weaker. Our life span has shown us adaptation but our bodies show us suffering. So, we have a longer life of suffering through our ailments. This is not something to be proud of. We cannot go into life swearing by nature or technology. We have to go into it with the combination of the two. If we grow ourselves to understand this concept, we can then embrace science in a less harmful way and we can embrace nature as our counterpart - therein, all of our ecosystems would be balanced and thus, our bodies, our minds, and our conscience. We need to stop separating ourselves from one another by means of beliefs, religions, and greed. We need to erase the concept of pedestals, luxury, and nobility and replace them with even ground, humble comfort, and respect. Not one child should starve because they are not able to purchase water or food because of this worldly system. Not one person should die in vain because we are trying to cultivate resources from other lands and therefore, we are in wars. We should be teaching every person to be educated and filled with depth and compassion. We need to remember that we are all family. From a scientific standpoint in our DNA, from a spiritual standpoint in our beliefs, and from the common standpoint within our intuitions. Not one person is different from you, but they are different in circumstance. And those circumstances are all defined by what we create this world to be."
