  • Is that 100 gallons? My 100 gallon is 6 feet long and 21"deep

  • @turtlelover191 ~170 US Gallons

  • What kind of back ground did you use?

  • @fightco It is an artificial rock silicone background - I cant quite remember where I ordered it from, but there are a few places online

  • Oscars shoal?

  • @TheEmpowered787 It is funny actually - i think they may both be females, but they are best of friends...most of the time. Ocassionally they have a spat, but only goes on for a max of a day before they are back swimming togther - quie funny actually :D

  • Ballsy throwing all those little fish with those oscars

  • @cwolter7887 Cheers. I agree that if you want to keep these sort of fish you really need to have the proper tank and equipment. It repays itself in some awesome looking fish (Oscars that have been treated tend to look ugly imo, with pushed in heads as well as scars from HITH)

  • @lolnikepg I only put decently sized other cichlids / fish in with them. I guess i got lucky in lots of respects, but I have found that oscars dont seem to bother certain fish (sevs, clown loaches etc)

  • @robdhands I find that the more filtration the better - sump is awesome for lots of other things (plants etc), the fx5 i find helps pull out particles and keeps the water crystal clear

  • @tjluna1960 Yeah I have heard this happen to some people - my oscars seem to completely ignore them - so I am not too worried
