People subscribe to people that either have interesting original content, or high quality videos of existing content. If you choose existing content, then you want the best look and feel for your videos.
Putting all sorts of text all over the screen and putting intros distract from the video. It really doesn't make me want to watch.
If you want people to watch your stuff, try keeping it simple and people will choose you.
And try some original stuff too.
