  • @rhadamanthes82 its not. And Ingwee Malmsteen is a joke.

  • that sack full of shit of Yngwie Malmsteen used this music as introduction for one of the pieces in his 1985 album 'Rising Force' and never ever gave credit to Krieger.

  • ummm is there not ornaments (i think thats wat they're called) on the g after u come down from the e on the first line?

  • gaaah.... im just finishing grade 8 but my teacher says playing something like this is a good idea just to relax between my harder pieces.... im getting really annoyed with it though. this vid really helped me memorize how its supposed to sound, thx.

  • Heh. Typical Malmsteem, he did the same with Albinoni's Adagio in his "Icarus Dream Suite Opus 4". I'm a long time guitarist who's trying to study piano and I've just started learning this for my ABRSM grade 2. Not sure if the examiner would appreciate the "Evil Eye" interpretation though (or if I could manage the fast runs Malmsteem adds in in the second half - a bit more than the exam's suggested ornaments!).

A very nice controlled piano performance here. Hope I can get it that good!

  • I have to do this for my grade 2 piano I only know the first few bars -_-

  • This is much better for organ or charpsicord.

  • is not a malmsteen composition , is a johann kriegger composition, malmsteen use this on hes song " evil eye " this piece is about 1600 a.c , sorry my english

  • im actually learning this piece on guitar =]

  • lol, you are good, i think it was A composition of the guitarist Ingwee Malsteen. ("Evil Eye" in 1984, "rising Force" album...) good interpretation, but it look like a Clavecin pice
