So true man....so true
The best thing about Preem's productions are that there is still a huge market for his style. Thats the people who dont go onto the new "sound" (yikes). He's always done his funky beats, headbopping and all that. He knows that he has been doing the right thing the last twenty years. How many other producers can say that?

It's impossible to pick one favorite primo track IMO...I got at least a good 10-15 favorites.

Its weird to here groups like EPMD and Kanye talk about Premo because they are producers. There isnt enough talk about who influences who, or what is your favorite track and stuff like that. I am suprised no one said just to get a rep or Who's gonna take the weight...
Dj Premier is hands down the greatest producer of all time. He didn't have to be mainstream to be well known, he never forgot his roots, which is true ill raw hip hop production. Alot of other producers have changed their sounds over time to try to keep up with the fast pace hip hop is on right now, trying to put a fie single for radio or music countdowns, not thinking 10 years from now the music will be forgotten. I still bump Premo whether it from1992 til present 2009. Believe Dat!!!
