This man completed four weeks of intensive voice therapy at Texas Voice Project for Parkinson Disease before graduating in December 2010. Though he noted as he went through therapy that his voice had become stronger and was able to regain the full range of his singing voice, he did not realize the full extent of his improvement until watching this before and after video.

As with many people with Parkinson's, though he knew his voice was different, he was not aware of how soft and weak his voice had become. In the "after" video, he is consciously using a voice that feels "too loud" in order to produce a voice that sounds normal to the listener.
