These graphics look like they were done in-house...by looking at the camera shots...maybe its me...They are some good opening for inhouse job though

I was in high school in 2000. I really don't remember watching the news then. I either got up in the morning running around because I was late for the bus or I came home from some sports practice and had to do homework.

WUSA actually dropped the "Eyewitness News" branding on January 29, 2002 & the next day (January 30, 2002) became WUSA 9 News

Andrea's still there as the Morning & 9AM Co-Anchor. J.C is now the noon anchor. Andrea moved to moring the same year as this video 2000, she was replaced by Gunvir Denhisa (sp)on the slot. Gunvir is now at WTTG FOX 5 in the same spot as Andrea.

I think it happened sometime within the 2006-07 season,when they rebranded to 9 News Now.Since then,they look to have fallen badly from their greatness as Peterson & Hill left for ABC station WJLA and WRC also became dominant.Nowadays,Channel 9 is far behind the competition which includes FOX O&O station WTTG.I know this because i have a cousin who lives in Maryland and is close to DC,where he once lived,and he watches WUSA-9 as well,but not as frequently as your relatives.
