A gorgeous performance of "It It Be Your Will" at the Tower Theatre on October 22, 2009. Leonard Cohen recites the first few lines of his beautiful poem, and then, as he removes his hat, he turns to the Webb Sisters, Hattie (on harp) and Charley (on guitar), accompanied by Neil Larsen on the Hammond B3 organ, who proceed with a sublime and angelic performance of the song.
"If it be your will
That I speak no more
And my voice be still
As it was before
I will speak no more
I shall abide until
I am spoken for
If it be your will.
If it be your will
That a voice be true
From this broken hill
I will sing to you
From this broken hill
All your praises they shall ring
If it be your will."
To let me sing.
