  • Before the viper...there was this charger....it did not finish the race back then because of lower grade gasoline in france...it burn its valves...still this just demonstrates that the old, true to its "stock car" roots racer could do le mans.... think if they had used the aero cars of ealier.....

  • 1:50 to 2:07 made my fucking laugh so hard lol fucking porsche

  • once a time this car is better than sex.

  • Go to vw and buy a bullshit golf v,please.

  • Whoa man mopar motors make the sweetest music !

  • He doesn't get anywhere near that 935 though does he!!! Granted different era I reakon he gets off the throttle because the breaks were probably on fire and not the best when they were cool anyway.

    Cracking vid none the less.

  • Okay, I'm not sure how the hell that happened? Sorry.

  • This is great. I actually know one of the guys who drove this monster at LeMans that year. The French papers called it "Le Monstier". They snuck a bunch of Olympia beer through customs by listing it on the manifest as "Oly lubricant", haha. Apparently they had to race with a smaller engine as the octane level over there was too low, this one sounds pretty good so that's probably no longer an issue. What a great bit of history.
