The Coming One World Economy! Is Melt Down & Catastrophe Only the Beginning?

In a time when people seem to more often vote from their wallet, than their heart, let alone their convictions (which should keep their heart in check when needed!). When the rally cry for the elections are the economy stupid! When the Repuiblican presidential candidate says on Letterman the issues are - the Economy! the Economy! & the Economy! YET over 50 MILLION PLUS (& counting) innocent babies are being killed (albeit mostly for economic, or selfish "lifestyle" or "comfort" reasons)! Despite everything going on in the World - our interest still seems to extend only about as far as our own comfort levels! Can you think of a better way to reach & solidify this type of peoples?
It already seems the hand writing is on the wall! The economic catastrophe will begin to bring peoples together to form the (dreaded?) "New World Order"! BUT who will be in charge? With all the power of a tied together global economy to focus, as the nozzle on a fire hose he (?) should be able to bring the pressure to bear to extinguish any nagging problem he aims it and (&keep every else comfortable & apethetic?). This would make him a big hero to the world. Who could handle such power?
There is a being which has been pursuing and craving that power and more since before the world was created when he wanted to ascend his throne above God and was cast out (or at least before Adam's diobedience & [sadly?] before the first children were born. This would be his dream come true wouldn't it?
Look ye on nations, and behold and marvel greatly. For a work He is working in your days, Ye do not believe though it is declared.

Amen! I'm so glad to know that there are others around the globe who are excited about the Lord, and looking forward to "going home"! I just pray that many more will open thier eyes instead of remaining ignorant to the truth! The Lord God is not a character in our imaginations. Jesus Christ is not a name used to replace a curse word. He is the Savior of the world. He is the giver of each day. His name is the only name by which one can be saved from the period of tribulation to come. Selah...

@cashmny78 I'm not Catholic and do agree with you that it is the Catholic church Whore of Revelation that the Antichrist will use to bring about a one world religion. Rom 14:5, Gal 4:10-11, and Col 4:15 clearly indicate that the NT church is under no obligation to worship on Saturday. The Mosaic law was for the Jews, not Christians. Acts 20:7 indicates that the Disciples were meeting on the first day of the week. We Baptists are following scripture, not the Catholic Church.

@x001m69 Absolutely false. The Sabbath is an everlasting covenant that will be kept even after we are in heaven!

Exodus 31: 16: Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

17:It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

The seventh day is Saturday. Godbless.

@cashmny78 Keeping the Sabbath was under the Mosaic Covenant for the Jews. There is no teaching in the New Testament that Christians are to keep the Sabbath. Paul never instructs the church to do so, nor does Christ. Christ actuall broke the Sabbath. We worship on Sunday because it is the day of the Lord's resurrection. The decalogue was meant to show the Jews their need of a Savior.

@x001m69 Final comment for you my friend: "Observe the sabbath day and keep it holy, as the LORD your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work. But the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God; you shall not do any work.

Mark 2:28 and Luke 6:5 it is seen that Jesus himself claimed to be the Lord of the Sabbath, and that day fell on the seventh day (Saturday).

I'm just saying that the day of rest where you arent to do any work is Friday sundown to Saturday sundown. Its very clear that this is the seventh day of the week which is Saturday.
