IMPORTANT: I used the term TDI (tap DI) because in ssb64 TDI was an acceptable term for SDI (just like "Z canceling" was interchangeable with L canceling.) I thought that using a different term for each stick would help players new to smash DI'ing. This video is the only time you will ever see the term TDI, the correct term to use on SWF/AiB/anywhere else is Smash DI.

I didn't put any zelda moves in there because i main zelda! :D

  • at 2:26, do u still have to press L/R to tech or it just does it by itself while DI'ing?

  • @SaladAsian Starts out fast. For example, MKs fastest ariel would be...fuck...

  • No amount of DI will save you from falcon punch or knee of justice. You have been warned

  • So basicly do your fastest aeiral and point in the opposite direction?

  • That is why you spike :D

  • i tend to momentum cancel way more than di in general

  • + Respect, i've been playing the Smash Bros Series for about 10 years and just recently started looking up techniques after playing Brawl online. I had no clue that Smash Bros had so much more to it than meets the eye.

  • Ok now to thrash your brothers ass.

  • @awsomecrossing Up air, WHICH COMES ON THE FRAME 2!!!! I get the joke, too.

  • Fukken like'd. Super smash is a good game and this did just show me what it is. Watching compared to reading on a wiki is different.

  • Sooo what if I use the Wiimote? Can I not SDI?

  • @eric10glitcher10 well then... ummm uhhh then uhh ... damn you're right lol

  • @sasuke9824 What if you say it really fast :3
