Hayao miyazaki is one of the staff who made Heidi. Heidi was televised in 世界名作劇場

    (world masterpiece theater).

In a world masterpiece theater, "Anne of Green Gables ""The Adventures of Tom Sawyer "was televised in the world masterpiece theater, too.

  • @shadowgrail I honestly don't remember O_O

Or more like, I can't remember.

  • @TengenToppaDrill What the? How could you have missed that? It's should've been painfully obvious! It was one of Keima's lectures.

  • @shadowgrail What? I don't remember this in TWGOK O_O I remember this from my childhood. This was referenced in TWGOK!? How could I have missed that?

  • @norighttoreply sure it is an animation, in japan they use "anime", for animated shows from all over the world. But in the US or europe, they used words like "cartoon" for animations. In america or europe, no one used or created the shortened word "anime" out of "animation", this word was "shortened" in japan and cause of that western people got used to call only japanese animations anime.

  • @Saroku1000 Why not? Sounds good to me;)

  • @Saroku1000 First; I never said that Nazi became the same meaning as "german", I just used this example to show you that your logic doesn't make any sense. Secondly; Nazi is not only a word to insult Germans. Never heard about the holocaust? You're acting like there's no fascist regime out there.Thirdly; You're right about the fact that Anime is used by non-japanese people for jap.animations but i'm only trying to explain that it's still a cartoon..

  • @norighttoreply another reality is, "japan" is the word used by americans while "nihon" is used by japanese people. With your logic we would have to call them nihonjin and not japanese people.

  • @norighttoreply "Nazi" never became a word that has the same meaning as the word "german", its a word to insult germans, to describe them as people who like Hitler and stuff. Fact is, "german" is the used word for germans, "nazi" is used by idiots who want to insult and defam germans.. Another fact is, "Anime" is used for japanese animations by the most of non-japanese people. Just try to understand the difference between your and my case.

  • @Saroku1000 HAHAHA OMFG what kind of logic is that? It's like you're saying "If anyone outside Germany says that german people are Nazis everyone should accept that "Germans" turned (outside of Germany) into a word for Nazis." Are you kidding me? So if I draw "Mangas" they're not real "Mangas" just because I am not a Japanese?
