@Drumybum I know tahus, he build it using same components I used in my design of the MIA 2001 DIY House Fly submicro helicopter which I also sold as a kit back around 2002. The same size helicopter very similar construction, GWS IPS motor for the main and very similar GWS nano servos and Gyros I used on he House Fly. I sent him the MIA Falcon canopy he shows in his video, so he is not using a recently purchased unit modified. Although nowadays it is so easy to make one of similar size.

@rictheawesome
The canopy was a gift from Mario at Micro-flight
I painted it using tamiya lexan paint.

@XTwina
It uses an old 3-in-1 controller. The helicopter is almost six years old.

do you think the heli could withstand the weight of a small wireless video cam to make a UAV? what is the range of this awesome little invention of yours? how much time in the air does it have before battery replacement?

I think it can carry around 30-40 g. I lifted a 1/4 full paper cup hanging in a string once.
The longest I have flown on one charge is ~12 minutes.
