BigPapaShitz, i've heard the whole speech and yes i read his quote on being a liberal. you see a problem with being the watchmen of the world and spreading peace through example not force?
you obviously dont know much about this country and it's history.

It's funny/sad to read all the bickering going on in the comments, listen to the message. This isn't about who killed JFK. He was warning us of what has come to fruition.
Wake up people, is it a "Conspiracy Theory" that we have far less freedoms today than we did then?
The rest of the world knows it why can't we see it?

Please don't get me started on Faux Noise... =)
Yes there is a pervasive mindset of divide and conquer that is perpetually pushed on us all by the media and brain-washed partisans to the point where people no longer see right and wrong only 'left' and 'right'. This is how propaganda is and has always been maintained. Fool them all, not only lie but get others to believe your lie and fight for it against the non-believers.

Thanks, 'BoniusRx', you're right.
It is possible with effort, by studying history and the evidence, to get a pretty clear idea of what is going on in the world. It is much harder to understand the blinkered idiocy of people like 'cdddraftsman'. Maybe Fox News is the pure truth to some credulous cretins. Whaddya reckon?
This speech has been edited--bits removed and other parts re-arranged--and its meaning completely distorted. If you listen to the original you'll understand that the 'conspiracy' Kennedy is talking about isn't a domestic one at all; rather he is referring to the Communist Soviets, and the Cold War; and his overall argument in the original (unedited) speech actually emphasizes his desire to censure the press at home in order to avoid secrets being passed on.

wrong!
"The very word secrecy is repugnant in a free and open society"
I edited this video as it is my contribution. I highlight the parts I like, but in no way did I alter the meaning of JFK. He is saying very clearly that the government should not be allowed to keep secrets from the people. The gov works for the people, the people don't work for the gov.
