  • The movie, INSIDE DAISY CLOVER is now available on DVD, but I believe it's only available as part of the Natalie Wood Collection Set - but at least it's finally available - took them long enough.

  • STUDIO VOCALIST Jackie Ward certainly did a good job of matching NATALIE WOOD'S speaking voice ~ this is a cute number from INSIDE DAISY CLOVER - By the way Natalie did some of her own singing in an earlier clip from this film, "You're Gonna Hear from Me" - it's Natalie singing the intro to the screen-test version of the tune.

  • @korgri I'd certainly rather be fucked by Anthony Hopkins, anyway! lol Oh, Thpawticuth!

  • Love this movie! Thanks for the great memories.

  • Supposedly this is being staged in the middle 1930s - of course, in reality, it's pure middle 1960s in costuming, sets, and the overall attitude of the lyrics (everything is fake, and disillusioning.)

I remember a later scene where she's supposed to be re-recording her vocal for this song, watching on a screen to match the film while she's singing in a soundproof booth, and she finally has a major mental breakdown and starts screaming hysterically.

  • i heard Natalie Wood sing it first, so this version just doesnt seem right to me...

  • What's up with the weird cut at 4:09 ?

Is it suppose to be like that?

  • Did you know that in the restored version of Spartacus that Anthony Hopkins is doing the Laurence Olivier parts where he's trying to fuck Tony Curtis? The scene's original audio wasn't so good, and Hopkins can do a perfect Olivier.

  • So did she sing any of the parts? She's the only good thing in the film, otherwise its one of those movies that just creeps you out to watch, so painfully obvious it was a genre ten years dead by 1965. Like 'Hello Dolly'. But... 'Sound of Music', 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' and 'Mary Poppins' were big hits. I guess the 'Hollywood's dark closets' concept can't hold up to nuns vs nazis, flying cars or extraterrestrial nannies?

  • You made me laugh so hard! :)

  • la la la la
