Tarrant County Prosecutor Hassles FIJA Activist

Update: The man in the video is assistant district attorney Kevin Rousseau.

On Aug. 24, I was outside the Tarrant County Justice Center in downtown Ft. Worth, passing out Fully Informed Jury Association literature to potential jurors with some other activists, when I was approached by a man who identified himself as a county prosecutor. He repeatedly questioned who I was and who I worked for. I, of course, repeatedly ignored his questions, and that only seemed to upset him more. We passed out close to 400 brochures in the span of an hour and a half to potential jurors and government bureaucrats.

I watched this video TWICE. Jeez...I hate liars. And Justino81...you are a LIAR! You lied in the title of this video. No one was hassled. A prosecutor very politely engage in a political discussion when he didn't have to... It was a wonderful exchange of ideas. You cheapen yourself when you LIE about being hassled by a man that was nothing but polite and civil towards an activist.

You think that a person that commits a non-violent crime should go home. So the person that gets child pornography from one person and sells it to another person hasnt committed a violent crime. I dont know what ur completely talkin about, but as a juror your duty is to enforce the law and if u dont then there will be lots of choas. So like some one steals something and you want to let them go because it was nonviolent. well then people will be stealin things and know they wont get punished and then everybody will start stealing things. Thats why they should go to prison to make them think about it or consider whether stealing and causing stress to people is worth jail time.

"and did you hear the defense lawyer say this?" "and did you hear the defense lawyer say that?"

coulda used your help with a little jury nullification on that one justin. instead all they did was laugh at me.

if you object to a law, you go through those who make the laws (the legislature) and not those who enforce the laws (the courts). if you have a problem with the laws, you take it up with your state representative. the courts only enforce the laws handed down by the state legislature.
