Day 10 of the admin (2/2001) Bush held a meeting about Iraq. In that meeting Powell told him things were stable and that Hussein was marginalized. SH couldn't get any nuclear material because the UN was all over his business. We had an embargo and inspectors were in the country.

I gonna make this sweet and simple. We went into war for a reason. NUKES. We went there right so what happened? No nukes. Now everyones debating "what should we do now"? Well we cant leave until iraq is stable enough to defend itself, and if we do leave, well...meltdown...total meltdown. The militias and insurgents will regroup and then what happens. I am in support of action against taleban, bin laden, and al-qaeda networks. iraq had nothing to do with this. i researched the hell out of it. even bush agrees now.

bush lied to us (after I voted him in 2000). one quote that got me thinking. he was asked about bin laden and his efforts to find him and he said "i don't really think of him any more." that was shocking and very telling to me. then i learned bin laden's dad is bush's dad biz partner in the carlyle group. bush are close to saudis.

I would vote for Ron Paul becuase he was big on tax cuts and independence. I liked his speeches and how he structured them...very convincing. He was totally against big government and foreign jobs due to taxes. He even was for the war and finishing it successfuly. Now thats the kind of president who is bold and is American. And he quoted "we shall never reward immigration". He is man of the constitution. Look it up on Ron Paul speech at Iowa straw poll.
