    how do you get here? i live in cedarburg and ive been looking for some good jumping spots but other than the infamous red granite and a 30ft waterfall right in cedarburg i havnt been able to find any but this looks awesome

    The quarry is right next to the racine country club golf course! It's also a beach and/or park, and families go there often too. Keep in mind, it's you do walk past clear signage saying it's not 'legal' :)

    Yes 3youngbuckbj, I must be stupid... How could I leave such a wide margin of error by only approximating the height (with my years of experience jumping as well). Thankfully, I reviewed the footage and timed out the free fall to be 1.673 seconds. No need to approximate here! Use a basic kinematics equation, just ask your math teacher, and it turns out the jump was 45.3 ft. I'll give you a chance to check over my math:

    t = 1.673 seconds

    4.9 t^2 = 13.716m

    13.716 m = 45.3 ft
