I am going to have to learn at least a bit of Amharic. I can tell, however, from the postures and expressions, that there is something sarcastic about the compents that both performers are making, and that the masinko is used to underline the remark.
In some ways, this form looks as though it could translate well into a hip-hop or slam poetry genre.

We live in a 3rd world country. Not every country is going to be perfect. Power abuse exists even in US.
I disagree with a lot of thing Meles did or is not doing. The one thing I give him credit for is that he has kept us relatively peaceful in a sense that no major civil war happened. You can't say that about our previous leader.
The opposition has no sight or plan on how they'll lead the nation, except to complain about everything.
