Generic "Sound Art" Performance

Generic "Sound Art" Performance.... this is me doing what I think a lot of sound art performances consist of. Playing around with effects peddles - which is interesting for the performer (especially if they're interest in electronics) - but I suspect not so much for the audience - and there in lays my problem with "sound art".

I agree with your statement whole heartidly... gotta beef that kind of thing up to make it interesting for the audience! Entertainers should entertain the audience if they demand an audience during playtime!
