The cold war is over in that we have the UN and the ability to settle deputes peacefully if we chose to do so. We also aspire to democracy. Therefore there is now no need for for any one to have WMD's, weapons of mass destruction.

None have the right to murder in our societies. Therefore none should have the right or the capability to destroy a country or the world. It is not democratic in any sense of the democratic ideology.

Israel has 200 nuclear warheads. The US just approved 650 billion INCREASE to maintain and expand it's nuclear program. In todays economic crisis that is money better spent on people.
