all i have to say is thank you this video says it all. Id like to Say your welcome as a proud mother, sister, and cousin serving in the Military. Our Troops give so much (emotional, physical, spiritual, etc) support to many above all our safety. Which many people take for granted or maybe just do not realize Maybe this video will help...THank You Again...

Well done video & the perfect song. I was a military wife for 20 years & for the 1st ten years my husband was gone 75% of the time and we weren't even at war then. It was hard bringing up 2 kids alone. Most people don't realize how difficult military life is not only in peace but in war. David Cook's Permanent always brings tears to my eyes and is a very powerful song & his vocals portray feeling & meaning. It's about loss & feeling helpless & every person can relate to that.

This is a touching tribute to our troops during the Holiday Season. It's amazing how "Permanent" fits the tough times our soldiers are going through. BTW, speaking of amazing - David Cook's whole album is just that - every song is great.

It really is! I had the pleasure of seeing him twice in concert this summer. With as much as he put in to his performances and all the appearances he's had to make, it's totally beyond me how he was able to make such a phenomenal record. His vocal chords must be made of steel!! I swear the boy is unnatural!! lol
