This is vintage working Search for Spock Phaser 2 prop. These were produced in the 1990's with very simple electronics. We updated them and gave a better paint job and are now selling them - to keep like the originals. This is not a toy. If your looking for a real laser to make your Phaser real check this site out.

Buy a laser that would fit inside of your phaser unit machine the inside of the phaser to house the laser unit. Next you would have to design the trigger group to use the on off function of then laser itself. This might involve a little electrical engineering to connect the two functions but once you are finished you will have PHlaser or a laser housed in a phaser body. Enjoy.

Props can be modded with anything by anyone. The beam could either be red, blue...hell, even green, just like in TOS. ^^

And the same question I asked goes for that version, too.
