My gay vote and your heterosexism. Over Two Million Australians identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. Yet the Liberal Government has consistently discriminated against homosexuals in Australia and Abroad. Why should I give you my vote?

I think you should possibly direct your question at Mr Rudd too - as neither major party appears to have any policy aimed at getting a 'pink vote'. Only minor parties like the Greens have policies regarding same sex unions.

The federal government even decided to override the ACT when it attempted to fix the imbalance in rights accorded by 'marriage'. How is this good administration?

very well said.. and for all of u who say that LGBT are going against God rules, and that he wouldnt create something he doesent agree. Well they have FOUND the GAY GENE in some organisms (fruit-fly)and are working to find it in the humans. MANY animals do it NATURALLY , GET OVER IT!! WE ARE GAY, and have the RIGHT to be!

Why do you assume that because the UK and others have endorsed homosexuals that your country should accept this foul policy?

Its a problem when your religion bans same sex marriage. I live in the UK, but for me to get married, I would have to convert from Catholic to Church of England, and thats something I would never do. Sorry, but Id rather die in my faith, then deal with the guilt from renouncing my creator, but Im happy enough with my boyfriend, and in our hearts, we're already married. Nice Vid!!!
