Tata is a huge congloerate who has a great presence in sectors like steel to chemicals , low end cars to high end [you are aware of the jaguar deal , hope you are aware that the tata logo also appears on the ferrari F1 car ]. They have manufactured one of the world;s fastest supercomputer which has been hired by biotech , aerospace , chemical R&D firms for their design works.

@Telears it was an isolated incident and i have seen ford ikon, ford endevaour, mitsubishi lancer, maruti esteem also burn due to some electrical problem or something similar so why do people make a big deal when a nano burns ???

tata nano is a great car.even major brands like toyota and honda's got problem with their cars.honda's got problem with valve spring in honda city.only two or three nano caught fire out of thousands.i dont think its manfacturers fault.it is true value for money.

I have gifted this car to my parents in last month..and its awesome.. in 2lacs i got AC, power window, central locking, tinted glasses, body colored bumper... with 4 yrs warranty.. and i m getting mileage of 25kmpl. who else can offer this??? my request to all is just drive this car once before writing any comment..

@aajizana My dear aajizana, I worked at Chrysler Technology Center for couple of years during the Bankruptcy period, and everyone in US knows the quality of Chrysler vehicles and their resale value. Chrysler really never designed any good vehicles in the recent past, they just bought these brands and spoilt them even further.
