@salboyzo90 The reason why I knew them and they knew me, I would pay them a biut more for sweeping and cleaning the area-occasionally bought a meal and a beer-actually went and hung a couple tomes. Not so much to get friends, but in that area at that time-you would be suprised what a meal did when someone is looking to knife you when you do not pay 50 dollars for three cans and a bottle.

If you know someone in the area that has been around for some time-they will remember me and am now a disabled vet from the war in Iraq. Google Sgt David Emme TBI-that is me. If not-no problems. Especially if they are or were homeless.

@salboyzo90 She had a baby and took up with another dude after I broke it off. Her baby was killed as someone took it by the legs and smashed it against the wall-I suspect her and after that happened moved out of the area and joined the army. Her name was Tabitha and 199-2000 is when I think this happened as basically her mom was a street walker in the area and am trying to find 0out what happened with this. If you r wiling-her name was tabitha and cannot remember last name

@salboyzo90 notso good. literally-I could buy a very nice home almost outright in Detroit-there is a reason for this and sometimes money is not the best reason. On this I am trying to find info. I dated this chick and she was not exactly discerning inher relationships.

@salboyzo90 The whole point is it is not all about money. When you lived and worked there in the p-ast and a disabled vet-it is more about quality of life and a lot comes from the area where you live. personally-am looking up in Morongo, Yucca, JT, 29, Johnson Valley as the area is more important as opposed to the price. quality of life. I know in the city-it is not so good. When you do your own research and find DHS has the biggest jump in crime rates-

@salboyzo90 there was always 2 things about DHS. Basically they took money in some kind of deal they got money for low income housing-literally in the 90's could get a decent house for 35 k . Then when getting out of prison or jail from LA-there was this thing where they had to be 100 miles from LA and basically quite a few came to DHS. On this-just tell me the street and I will know what to expect besides friends in the area

@salboyzo90 When we did not have a police force it was bad. You would have people rolling up on you when paying for gas asking for money and it was almost like if you did not give money-act like they were going to fight you. Thankfully-I already did 5 yrs in the Marines and always had a pistol. they hired these police and they had to fire over half when it came out that they were under investigation from previous departments

@daveme7 yeah back then it was a nice small city, but seriously not even a week ago a 16 year old got shot in his home by three so called gangsters and that was 2 houses sown from mine considering we live really close to the police station, but i admit it it is nice, but not at night
