it's obvious Lady Gaga is obsessed with fame. So how do you tell if this is from the heart or just a publicity stunt? She is the most outrageous artist of our generation, and has no limits to get to where she wants to be. Is this standing up for what she believes in or merely part of the fashion?

As unpopular as it is. Straight and gay people are standing up for the belief that all men are created equal, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. We demand the same rights for ALL PEOPLE.

You are ignorant to the fact that in 29 states a person can be fired simply because they are lesbian or gay and in 39 states transgender people can be legally fired. How is that for an unemployment problem.
To answer you question; Yes. There are few things that are more important than all Americans having the same rights. It's because of other things such as the bad economy and our nation at war that change is needed. Especially now!
