  • about how much do one of those background stands cost?

    thanks!!

  • The background stands cost under $70

  • Excellent tutorial.

That secondary light, what's the wattage on that? I'm just wondering what effects are produced by different wattage, and if it would produce uncomfortable warmth to the person being filmed if it needs to be set close to them.

  • Both those lights are fairly high wattage and do produce quite a bit of heat.

These days I light with daylight florescents - because they are much cooler to work with.

  • @tweetyrocks818 another light?

  • wtf ok but how do you lite the person from the front and profile???

  • The hardware store also has the 90 watt halogens in flood or spot configurations. Combine those with a clamp light fixture, some filter clips from Calumet, and some pieces of black foamcore and you have a very flexible fixture.

  • that fresnel looked really small

  • Ya- definitely- thanks!

  • ahahahaha
