Tim Thomas set a playoff record for most saves, and for least goals in the Stanley Cup Finals, with only 8 goals total. Plus, he won game 7 of the ECF and the SCF with shutouts, and won the Conn Smythe as the MVP of the playoffs. Roberto Luongo was porous when the Canucks needed him, while Tim Thomas was a brick wall.

@gfsfg111 I don't think that's a big deal for me. Even though I hate the Tea Party bullshit, at least he sticks to his guns. Also, it's easier to root for a guy who doesn't talk shit about the other goaltender, after giving up 8 goals to his 1.
