Video honoring Dr. Richard Schrock, the UC Riverside 2006 Most Distinguished Alumni Award honoree.

Schrock won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2005 for his work in olefin metathesis, sharing the award with Robert H. Grubbs and Yves Chauvin.

Schrock earned his B.A. from UC RIverside in 1967, then went on to earn a Ph.D. from Harvard University. He has been a faculty member at the Massachuesetts Institute of Technology since 1975.
