This is the Quad Pod quad rotor helicopter from
http://www.snelflight.co.uk/
construction was very easy, no glue no soldering and it only took about an hour, everything needed was included in the kit, but you provide your own transmitter, receiver, battery, and charger.

construction was fun and quick and everything worked perfectly during my first flight, i didn't even need to trim it.
Pick up a quad pod if your looking for a highly maneuverable, gyro stabilized aircraft, it can carry a lot of weight, and it is easily modified for any quad rotor project. it can fly fast or slow indoors and out and i highly recommend it.

  • Would a 4 channel tx/rx be adequate?

  • @bovlch Yes a 4 channel TX will work just fine, you only need a fifth channel if you want to use heading hold, but I never use it so it's no big deal.

  • When you say it can carry a lot of weight, do you have a specific weight load that it can handle before becoming unstable/dragged?

  • @BazookaMoose check the snelflight main page to find out for sure, I'd hate to misquote it.

  • @BazookaMoose It'll carry a go pro camera fine.

  • i have a question, in one of video when these roberts were used to construct, how can they change the direction of the pole, or more precisely can these roberts fly vertically rather than horizontally, thank you.
