It seems as if American Idol has been duped.

Idol hopeful Nicci Nix just passed on through to the Hollywood round after stunning judges with her high-pitched voice and sexy Italian accent.

It turns out, however, that the contestant is something of a serial reality-show hopper, whos appeared on multiple shows, under various names, using different accents. (Perhaps the porn-sounding name Nicci Nix should have been their first tip-off?)

No one has been duped.... If you listen to her golden ticket interview on the AI website, she says that she is from Pleasant Hill, CA. Only names she has ever used are here real name and her artist name. There is no lying going on. The AI producers just wanted to make a big deal about her having to fly in just for the audition. It's obvious. AI producers are no fools, they know everything about the people auditioning.

How she performed and how she responded to

She's showing skin, but in a classy, innocent way.

Which I believe is what they were going for.

Also, how she performed, as she sings, you can notice

that she gives the judges equal eye contact and the judges

ate up her performance with a spoon. I can name some

other small variables, but I think I said enough.

nicci nix is awesome shes my cousin no lie and shes and amazing singer and made it to the top 24 and got booted because she has a record deal so dont make fun of my cousin i will give proof if you dont belive me. She is my anuts cousin.

i think she really is a nice singer, but when i saw her on TMZ i was really shocked! why did she have to do that? that tiny voice? or is it real?

i like her! but not the acting part. :)
