just get a white boardmarker draw over the pemenent and rub it of its gone !

Thanks, I drew a calendar that took my whole whiteboard after i finished i notice i used permanent marker *face palm*. I got some seriouse earasing to do :p

Go over it with a dry-erase marker. Then it all wipes off together. Way easier than all that elbow grease.

Also try using finger nail polish remover to remove permanent marker. Put a little on a cotton ball and gently rub. Uses less elbow grease than an eraser. I can't remember if I've tried it on a white board, but I've used it on smooth plastic (like Tupperware), glass, non-porous tile, etc. It even sometimes helps on clothing. Hair spray works great to remove ball point pen marks from clothing, and some people say it works well to remove permanent ink from white boards.

Nail polish sounds great too. But thing is, not everyone, esp. guys, have it.
