Pathfinders of Fox Company, 5th Battalion, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade conduct as many as three operations a day to keep FOB Wolverine in Zabul Province, Afghanistan safe. Scenes include various shots of vehicles driving, service members on patrol, looking through vehicles and houses and interviews. Sound bites include Sgt. Shawn Burns. Produced by Marine Cpl. Bradley.
Mostly we did deep recon missions, set up LZs and Drop Zones, ran fix wing assault landing strips, forward area rearm/refuel sites, search & rescue operations, forward area weather forecast/assesment, NBC air/ground survery ops, control fix/rotor wing/indirect artillery fires, photo intelligence assesment of assault sites. Wish I was still young enough and healthy enough to do it all over again. The Pathfinders today are some real heroes and got some high speed gear I wish we had!

@fogart57 how else was it like when you were a Pathfinder

Pathfinders are doing Infantry/Ranger type operations now. Much different from my time as a Pathfinder. We did not have companies, just a platoon with three 6 man teams.
