@rameller1 No, no, no... You got BigBear all wrong. He was trying to steal the roadies and sailors from Mary for himself. I guess he was not very successful when there's so much bitterness. Hey BigBear... you can't win them all!

They always had beautiful dresses and they looked great in them.

I really think most are missing the point of the song and especially in thinking they look mad or upset. The story of the song is sad. It would have been crazy for them to be smiling with glee while singing about the death of the mother.

They're based off the Movie Dream Girls, aren't they?

Pure awesomeness.

If this song wasn't so laugh-out-loud rediculous, it wouldn't be good at all.

OH BigBear! Another one of your X-rated Mary put downs! I love it when you get rough so please tell us the whole story. When Mary was taking care of roadies and sailors your squeezed into her gowns and did the shows with the other Supremes?
Mary and Cindy were always professional no matter that problems they faced. I think people are reading tension in the performance...after the fact. At least this clip proves that Mary and Cindy could have done their own backup. Love Cindy's high ooo ooo harmony.

I always liked this song, thought it was well-produced, and Diana gave it her vocal "all." It is great to hear Cindy and Mary singing the backgrounds live, and very well and clearly, here though. I agree: they are all so beautiful here, including those fabulous gowns and wigs!
