Are you really planning on bugging out to a clump of woods in the city ? ? ?

Arent bug out locations supposed to be remote locations ?

bugging out should be to another location with more resources away from current threat, not really remote locations, unless your resources are remotely located

As someone who has just recently put together a survival bag, I am amazed at how good I feel driving around knowing the bag is in my car boot (trunk). it is such a relief knowing that if something happens, I can at least stay dry, have a bite to eat, make a cup of coffee or tea, and navigate my way back home, staying dry and warm. it counts for a lot. I wonder how you felt the first time you drove about knowing you were 'prepared'?

I have always sort of been in the prepared of mind, going over possible senarios in my head, figuring out how to over come them, like little puzzles of life, of course as I have become older it evolves, I have always been the "what if" guy, but instead of fearing it I embrace it and figure out how to over come it.

@Vorpalbite bug out location is where you are safe, but also where you can obtain fresh water, and survive. bugging out can mean staying put, if that is what you need to survive, nature provides "natural" survival so is optimal, or recomended, where as a urban situation could be quite detrimental to personal survival
