My very first ever "next time" trailer!
I was watching Blink the other day and I saw the "next time" trailer for Utopia and thought "it's good, but it could do with improving!" So I set to it. The first idea that came into my head was the ending, and the rest of it just fell into place. There are a few things I had to take out due to the time restraints of the theme, but I kept all the best bits in. I admit it is a bit rough (the volume consistancy could be improved, for example), but I am very proud of it! 3 or more hours of work comes down to just 40-odd seconds. I hope you like it!
Oh, and I have reverted back to the old version of my intro, because I didn't think the new version was as good. As the saying goes, I guess in this case less is more!
'century gothic' is a different name from'futura book'.

Btw, needless to say that editing was excellent 'nd stuff, and I can see why you worked around the ending of that trailer as a concept.
But there's a reason that the BBC went to lengths to give NO clues that Utopia had The Master returning.

Yeah, i think its good, but the original is better, as it had a sense of mystery to it. Nice try though.

I don't think it works I'm afraid. Utopia, as a story worked because there was no clue that the Master would be back an episode early, nothing in the trailer to suggest an out of the ordinary futuristic adventure, etc. Any trailer with any clue about the Master or the story arc would have ruined the story. Imagine how good a story Parting of the Ways would have been if no-one knew he would regenerate at the end of it.
